What kind of induction do I get as a new member?
As a new member we will provide as much support as you need. When you join, an appointment will be booked with a member of our Fitness Team to complete a free Health Check and free Personal Training Programme. This Programme can then be reviewed every 4 - 6 weeks as your fitness goals and needs change.
Members can book into classes up to 7 days in advance by contacting reception. If you are unable to attend a class you have booked, please contact reception to cancel. Arena has a 3 Strike policy on class cancellations, members who persistently book cancels and fail to attend will be black listed for one week.
Non-members can book into classes up to 48 hours in advance by contacting reception. Non-members must pay a fee of £5 for all classes, at the time of booking. This fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Guests can purchase a One Day Guest Pass to use the club for a fee of £10. If they then decide to undertake membership this fee will be deducted from their admin fee.

How can I pay?
Memberships are usually paid monthly by direct debit, but arrangements can be made for those who prefer to pay via cash, debit/credit card or cheque.
The date of your monthly Direct Debit fee is selected by you at the beginning of your contract. You can choose for your Direct Debit payment to be made on the 1st, 9th, 17th or 24th of the month. No alternative days of payment are available.

Your admin fee covers the cost of setting up your membership - your registration, membership card and associated costs.
Complimentary suspension periods are permitted for reasons of illness, injury or pregnancy for a period of not less than two and not more than nine months. One calendar month's notice must be given in writing. Retrospective suspension periods will not be considered.
Membership cancellations will be accepted in writing and are subject to at least one calendar months notice (Example: If your Direct Debit date is the 1st, notice must be given before the 1st May to cancel at the end of May). Memberships that are still in the minimum contract period cannot be cancelled. Notice must be given before the beginning of the final month. If inadequate notice is given, Arena Health and Fitness may be unable to prevent a further payment being charged and no refund will be given.
Any member, having previously cancelled their membership, wishing to rejoin Arena Health and Fitness, will be obliged to pay the current Joining or Admin Fee applicable at the time of rejoining.
